Our plantations A Tree for YouAgroforestry and forestry in 10 villages and 5 hamlets in a valley of the river Zio in Togo, 2025-2030
In the River Zio valley, the soil is extremely degraded and not very fertile for subsistence crops. The local population also lacks firewood and timber, collecting them from the forest along the river. The aim of this project is to plant 160,000 trees in 10 villages and 5 hamlets to provide the locals with food and wood and protect the Zio river gallery forest. This project is the continuation of projects carried out in the region since 2019.

Michel plans to plant fruit and melliferous trees to regenerate the soil, feed his bees, and tackle drought and erosion. Planting 6,190 trees will deliver wide-ranging benefits: more biodiversity, an improved microclimate, and the production of local fruit and honey. The project will also reduce inputs and fuel consumption by favouring nature-based and sustainable practices.

The project aims to create a five-hectare food forest – combining sustainable food production, environmental education, and biodiversity restoration – on the De Biesterhof farm in the Netherlands. The goal is to produce local fruits, nuts, and plants while boosting social ties and climate resilience. The project will also serve as a demonstration and source of inspiration for other farmers and local stakeholders.

This new planting wave in Tena seeks to reforest, in three years time, spoiled areas with 95,000 trees. The sustainable agroforestry model being implemented is helping improve the quality of life for Kichwas while protecting the adjacent primary forest. This initiative is a response to the issue of biodiversity loss. It is carrying on from previous projects focused on planting valuable trees in Tena.

Our plantations A Tree for YouPlantations for resilience and diversity in the Fontainebleau forest 2026-2027, France
The project aims to carry out supplementary regeneration operations in Fontainebleau Forest, where natural regeneration is insufficient, by planting 1,100 trees. The environmental objective is to reinforce the forest’s resilience to climate change and maintain its ecological functions relating to soil, water, biodiversity, and carbon. The project also has a strong social component, raising awareness among younger generations about the importance of preserving the forest.

Our plantations A Tree for YouReforestation to conserve páramos and water resources in Colombia 2025-2030
The project aims to boost the community nurseries, made up of 201 families, and reforest the region by introducing the silvopastoral approach to small dairy farmers (planting trees in their meadows) and restoring watersheds. Planting 68,250 native trees, as well as developing economic alternatives based on medicinal plants and raising environmental awareness among local inhabitants, will reconcile economic development with preservation of the rich biodiversity in the Colombian Andes, especially the unique páramo ecosystem, which is at risk of disappearing.

The Lower Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary project in Sabah, Borneo, aims to restore and protect one of the last forested floodplain ecosystems in Southeast Asia. Working with local communities, it involves replanting 26,250 trees on former palm oil plots to restore degraded forest fragments, enhance biodiversity, and tackle climate change.
