In the sensitive region of Lake Itasy, the Mahavotra project is helping 700 farming families shift towards agroecological practices and introducing forestry and agroforestry systems. Together, let’s plant 108,000 trees!
Up to 66% of donations as an individual are tax deductible from your taxable income, to a limit of 20% of the taxable income, if you are a tax resident of France.
For example, after tax deductions:

a €30 donation costs you €10.20
a €50 donation costs you €17
A Tree for You will issue the tax receipt for the full year of donations at the start of the following calendar year. This receipt can only be made if the postal details of your tax residence are fully completed in your donor area.

Agrisud International promotes the creation and reinforcement of very small family farming enterprises (VSEs), firmly rooted in the local market. These family VSEs participate, by developing agroecological systems, in the restoration and the preservation of agroecosystems strongly threatened by the degradation of the soil and the productive resources.
A farmer, Félix raises a 150-head herd of Red Angus in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques (southwest France). He is keen to adopt agroforestry and put trees at the heart of the cattle pasture. Introducting 1,208 trees will provide additional food and shade for the livestock, improve soil fertility, and enrich biodiversity on the farm.
95% of the donations received will be put into the project and the remaining 5% used to cover the running costs of A Tree For You.
The primary forest in this region is suffering from selective deforestation and losing its biodiversity. Let’s plant valuable local species trees in plots owned by smallholders, this will provide them with wood within easy reach and so protect the tropical forest.
In this small village of 600 inhabitants, the soil is extremely degraded and so largely infertile for subsistence crops (taros, yams…). The villagers also lack fuelwood and lumber. Together let’s plant trees to provide the villagers with food and wood, and to protect the gallery forest of the river Zio.
